The morning of the competition dawned bright and sunny. It was definitely good weather for fishing! (:


Soon enough, excited fishermen started pouring in to register themselves and to drop their ticket stubs in for the lucky draw at the end of the day.

All ready to set off!

Time flies when you're having fun, and soon people were arriving back at the Club to have their catches of the day weighed and evaluated!

There was a bout of bad weather around the time the boats were due back at the club, but even that couldn't dampen everyone's spirits - we simply got out our umbrellas and raincoats and got on with the show!

11.3kg? Whoa, that's a big one!

Look, the E-waves organizing team's got a catch! And quite a big one, too, at 3.5kg! Too bad we can't get any prizes :(

"Wait for me!"

This participant came in just in the nick of time with his 8.9kg catch that ultimately won him 2nd place in the competition!

Wow, look at the size of that one! says our guest-of-honour, Mr. Andrew Chua, Chairman of the Ayer Rajah-West Coast CCC.

Our second- place winner, David, with his catch of 8.9kg and our first- place winner, Richard, with his catch of 11.3kg! The third prize winner, Michael, with his catch of 2.3kg, is unfortunately absent from this shot. His fish is there, though! :D

We acknowledge that there were certain discrepancies on our part and certain things did not go exactly as planned. We apologize for our mistakes and hope that everyone realizes that as E-waves Fishbyte is still a relatively new establishment, we are very much inexperienced in organizing such events.
