Time: 3pm to 6pm (2 hours class room session and 1 hour outdoor session)

Venue: Classroom At West Coast CC

Organize by West Coast CC Fishing Interest Group

Fee : Registration fee will be $5 for Passion Card member
$10 for non Passion Card member

Classroom Session - Basics of Lure Fishing

1. Introduction to Lure Fishing
A quick talk about what is exactly lure-fishing and the fun and challenge of doing lure fishing

2. Types of lures
Explain different types of lures and their usage and characteristics

3.Lure Fishing Tackle
Recommend suitable lure fishing tackle like suitable rod, reel and line to match

4. Line tying method
Explain how to tie the lines and knots suitable for lure fishing
Show how to cast the lures and work the lures effectively, to trigger the fix to bite

5. Fish Species
Show how the different common lure taking fishes in our local waters and their preference of lures and colors

6. Safety and Conservation

From now on, you may call in to pre-order your lunch for the day with us and collect it when you drop by to buy your bait before going on fishing trips. The food will be bought from the nearby coffee shops. You may also pre-order drinks by the carton.
